'The food on The Bengal Sage's menu is different from a traditional Indian restaurant - the dishes are subtle and complex, the sauces are light' says Miff. The menu includes dishes such as 'Broughton Water Buffalo Bhoona' and 'Zyava' which is an intriguing combination of dark chocolate and Tamarind.
We at the Bengal Sage are proud to be members of Hampshire Fare, an organization established in 1991 by a small group of food producers who wanted to actively promote the benefits of buying local produce. Ethics, quality and taste – are translated into the practice of ‘Going Local’ by creating a menu comprising dishes prepared from local produce of the highest quality, with a level of thought and preparation to match.
